Our school buildings are diverse and imaginative with an emphasis on colour, light and sustainability to create inspiring internal and external environments. From small recycled buildings to larger extensions and new schools our architects have a wide range of experience.

Apartment Buildings

Our apartment buildings develop the efficient design of each unit. Set against this are the spaces created between each apartment for circulation routes and their relationship to light and landscape.

Private Residential

Our architects actively look to work across the range of residential projects and enjoy the exchange of ideas between. From extensions, to major refurbishment and new houses, our architects provide creative solutions working within the parameters of the site, brief and budget.

Commercial Buildings

Our Offices, Workshops and Studios respond to the site and brief with a simple rigorous architecture. Our architects maximize daylight and look to understand the hierarchy of spaces from front of house to those which must be realised simply and efficiently.

Sustainability

Our approach as architects is to get the simple strategic decisions correct in terms of the siting of the building, its orientation and maximising the benefits of daylight and sunlight. Our architects then ensure the building is well insulated and air tight with the use of materials appropriate to its setting.

The featured buildings highlight the diversity of project type and scale undertaken by Shape Architecture. All are developed using computer modelling and all address the issues of architectural sustainability in a fully integrated manner.

It is the cross fertilisation of ideas between these projects and the clear and rigorous approach common to each, that is at the heart of our architects approach to designing buildings. When allied to the diversity of site and brief, the result is an expanding portfolio of very different buildings.
