Fulham Extensions
We are nearing completion on two projects in Fulham and it is pleasing to see the transformation of each property. The projects are quite different in scale. One a full basement extension with multiple other extensions and a full reworking of the interior. The other smaller being a single storey rear extension. You will see that both follow similar themes in the creative and extensive use of glass and a natural flow between spaces.
The basement extension near Parsons Green has much to commend it. The side infill at ground floor is roofed entirely in glass and it is already clear how dramatic this feature is. The new stair linking basement and ground floor sits below this glazing. Glazed screens look over this composition from reception rooms. There is a carefully considered series of views between and glimpses of spaces. As with many of our glazing projects we are working with Maxlight.
The rear extension in Doneraile Street once more is characterized by its use of glazing and in particular rooflights and the change from what was a kitchen giving onto a dilapidated conservatory is clear.
