Barnes Small Interior Project
Shape Architecture continues to undertake a range of small projects. We enjoy the process and the impact they have once constructed. Often these projects do not involve any form of extension and are solely works to the interior. Here in Barnes our client wanted to improve the entry into the property. The issue was that there was no hallway nor any storage. As such the front reception room was cluttered and undefined. The concern was that any division between the hallway and the reception room would result in a dark hallway. We proposed a glazed screen and door in a number of designs with a bespoke coats cupboard ‘shielding’ the reception room when the front door was open. Our client liked the approach and we are presently drawing up the preferred option in greater detail.
