Planning permission for Garden Studio in Hove
Shape Architecture has been granted planning permission for this garden studio at the top of a steep garden in Hove. Our client is a carpenter and wanted something a bit different to the normal garden room and added to this was his interest in the work of Gaudi. We work on many timber framed structures and were very interested in this smaller project. As much as the amount of new space is of value, the quality of the space is what excites our client. The roof form is a particular joy to sit below. The creative collaboration between client and architect was very much at the heart of this project whilst the design was explored in many forms using 3D computer graphics.
Over the years we have worked on many garden structures and have really enjoyed these projects, particularly the Eco Sheds in Hammersmith. This project is a good addition to our portfolio of garden studios.
If you would like to discuss a garden studio in Brighton or London, please do not hesitate to contact us.
