LONDON PROJECTS 2025
We have had another busy year of projects throughout London during 2025. The range of projects continues to reflect the diversity of project type, size and location that characterises our work, from simple extensions to more involved basement projects we have undertaken wide range of projects throughout London. Below we list a sample of these projects and the images and photographs that go with them. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to working with you in 2026.
Fulham Architects
As Architects in Fulham we have continued to work on a wide variety of residential projects and list a number below.
Gastein Road, Fulham
This project is a side infill extension and works to bathrooms at upper levels. Now complete, the addition of a side infill extension creates a large light filled kitchen and dining room. A feature rooflight defines the spaces. Large glazed doors provide a far improved visual and physical connection between interior and the garden beyond. A very successful project and one that is more and more common.
Elbe Road, Fulham
Presently on site and due to finish in early 2026. It incorporates a number of extensions into the one project and will certainly serve to transform the terraced house. The project includes a side infill extension, a loft conversion with dormer extension and a large roof terrace and the complete internal refurbishment of the house. Our clients will now have a large light filled and contemporary home with the benefit of a roof terrace.
St Maur Road, Fulham
Our basement extension near Parsons Green is now nearly complete. There are many features that are successful, ranging from the glazed side infill extension to the feature basement stair. The kitchen and views from the snug across the feature stair are impressive. The upper level study giving onto a large roof terrace equally so. This is now a wonderful family home.
Clonmel Road, Fulham
Another project in the Parsons Green area. Here we have redesigned all the bathrooms and bespoke furniture to each bedroom alongside the addition of a glazed wall between the entrance hallway and the reception rooms. No extensions but nonetheless a transformation into an elegant home.
Epirus Road, Fulham
Just submitted for planning permission. A side infill extension, loft conversion with pod room and complete internal refurbishment. As noted above an increasingly common brief. One which we have extensive experience of and for this reason were selected as architects by our clients.
Ealing Architects
We have continued to carry out many projects in Ealing and have just started to work on a very interesting house in Layer Road. The survey has just been completed by ourselves. It was complex given the layout of the house but efficiently and accurately recorded by our digital IMapper survey equipment. Another project in Ealing is at Park Close and this is interesting as it does not include any extensions but rather the redesign of the interior to create a light and bright contemporary home. Such projects are ever more common and the way in which a number of design changes can serve to transform a home is very satisfying. Our two storey side and rear extension at Beaufort Close now having been granted planning permission is currently being worked up as a series of technical drawings. This was a very good permission in a significant conservation area.
Clapham Architects
Our project in Elms Road in Clapham is now on site and progressing well. A large house, we are adding a glass cube extension to and another glass surround to a new stair linking the upper and lower ground floors together. As with many projects we are also redesigning all bathrooms and designing a range of bespoke furniture throughout the house. We look forward to completion in spring.
Highgate Architects
We are presently working on an existing two storey garden structure for our clients. Poorly constructed with an inefficient arrangement of rooms and much else that our clients would like to be improved, this is a very interesting project and one with our portfolio of garden rooms we can bring much creativity and technical knowledge to. The design proposals have just been submitted for Pre-App advice.
Kensington Architects
We continue to work on a range of projects throughout Kensington. Two permissions this year highlight the range of projects. The first at Petersham Place where we gained planning permission for a mews house to co-opt the internal garage into valuable habitable space and so expand and transform the internal layout. The second at Pitt Street off Kensington High Street where we redesigned the front enclosure and access to a large family home.
Barnes Architects
We enjoy working on the variety of properties in Barnes. Here we are working on an interior project on an interesting house opposite the River Thames. The project looks at creating storage and a glazed screen to separate the entrance hallway from the front reception room. A good example of a small project which will have a big impact.
Wimbledon Architects
Our rear extension and loft conversion project at Burstow Road is progressing well on site now. The large rear extension and the vaulted space it creates is already looking impressive and we look forward to its completion in Spring.
Putney Architects
We completed a single storey rear extension in Dover House Road amongst others in the borough this year. Located in a prominent Conservation area, the project at Dover House Road has served to create a contemporary and much enlarged kitchen, living and dining area filled with light.
Westminster Architects
Of the variety of projects we have worked on in Westminster in 2025 our extension to and reworking of an elegant house in Westbourne Park Villas is a favourite. An elegant house made more contemporary with a layout to suit our clients’ needs. A large rear extension and the creation of a master suite have contributed to the transformation. The permission for the conversion of an integral garage into habitable space at Eaton Mews North was another success. As was the permission for small enclosure from an existing terrace to an apartment in Blenheim Crescent
