• Rottingdean Architects

Shape Architecture has obtained planning permission to transform a house in Rottingdean and is now working up the technical drawing set. The proposal sees the removal of an existing conservatory and internal diving walls with the addition of a large extension and the opening up of the property. The extension will be flooded with light and also maximises the potential of a series of views out to sea and back towards Brighton. The interior spaces now open up onto each other and enjoy an excellent physical and visual connection with the garden and green spaces beyond.

A Sedum Roof with large format Rooflight, feature windows and crisp detailing all help to ensure that not only will the property benefit form more space but it will have a distinct contemporary feel.
