    Small Projects

Shape Architecture always have a number of small projects in the office. We particularly enjoy when a small intervention has a great impact on the aesthetics and usability of a space. Below are two current small projects.  One the creation of two bathrooms in Worthing and the other an artist’s studio in Brighton. The first having just received planning permission and the second having just been submitted for Pre-App advice with the planning authority.

The roof void is presently used to an extent for artwork but is cramped with poor access and not much light.  We have proposed 3 designs with varying degrees of glass enclosure.

The bathrooms replace a muddle of existing small bathrooms and a WC. A planning permission has been obtained for larger windows. The interior of each bathroom is carefully considered and designed in detail.
