Worthing Side Extension
Shape Architecture has designed this side infill extension in Worthing. The existing side infill was a poor quality external space and barely used. At the same time the kitchen suffered from being in a narrow space with a poor connection between the interior and the garden beyond. A side infill extension whilst a relatively small addition serves to transform the layout of the property creating a large, light filled and contemporary kitchen and dining room.

Opportunities to bring daylight into the space and create a sense of openness are taken in the form of roof lights set within the side infill roof and a new large glazed door assembly. A simple extension has served to transform the space.
