Stair Design as a Centrepiece
Across our residential and commercial work, stair design is often a central element of the architectural concept—uniting form and function with light and space.
From listed properties in Chelsea to contemporary homes in Brighton, we bring a consistent design language to each project: minimal, elegant, and always integrated into the wider spatial strategy.
Stairs offer a unique opportunity to shape how people move through a building and how light is experienced. That’s why many of our staircases are paired with structural glass, open risers, or frameless detailing—solutions that enhance visual flow and invite natural light into the heart of the home.
In our Elms Road project in Clapham, for example, a formerly enclosed stair was opened up with glass balustrades and redesigned as a glowing central feature. In Chelsea’s Redesdale Street, an elegant stair refurbishment was carefully integrated into a listed interior, combining respect for heritage with contemporary detailing.
Whether in tight urban plots or open-plan interiors, we treat every stair as an architectural opportunity—one that can unlock new relationships between levels and help define the character of the space.
