Westbourne Park Villas Project Nearing Completion
Our project at Westbourne Park Villas in Notting Hill is nearing completion. The property is an elegant villa that required full refurbishment and several extensions to transform it into the contemporary family home it is now becoming.
At lower ground floor a single storey rear extension has been added to create a large kitchen and dining room with snug. At ground floor a roof terrace sits over this extension. Set within the roof terrace are several structural glass panels helping to flood the lower ground floor with daylight. The effect of the extension and its mix of glazing and roof lights is to connect the interior with the garden beyond both visually and physically in addition to the amenity of a roof terrace and the creation of a large kitchen and dining room as the hub of the house.
Work has been carried out at every floor level. In particular at the first floor where a Master Bedroom with Walk in Wardrobe and En-Suite has been created. Shape Architecture designed the bespoke furniture for the walk-in-wardrobe. We also designed a range of bespoke wardrobes throughout the property.
The success of the project has been in recognising the elegance of the existing house and carefully transforming it into a light filled and contemporary home.
