Kensington Architects
Yesterday we reviewed our Kensington Mews project at Adam and Eve Mews. Today our project being reviewed is in Woodsford Square. Here we again added a roof terrace, alongside a glazed cube extension and balcony and full reworking of the interior creating en-suites and a walk-in-wardrobe. The property is transformed into an elegant, contemporary and light filled home. As with our project at Adam and Eve mews we gained planning permission at our first submission.
Kensington Roof Terrace
The new roof terrace adds valuable outdoor space with views. In this instance it is accessed by a large low profile linear rooflight that is side hinged. The rooflight also serves to flood the stairwell below with light.
Kensington Glass Cube Extension
The glass cube extension is a strong feature of the design. A wonderful space to sit in. It also fills the space with light and provides an excellent visual connection with the garden beyond. Installation required that the glass panels were craned over the house and carefully positioned.
Kensington interior design
As with all our projects we provided interior design which included the design of all bathrooms and en-suites and a series of bespoke furniture including a walk-in-wardrobe. Each was drawn in great detail. Bathrooms have every wall drawn in elevation to ensure co-ordination between fixtures and fittings, tiles and lighting.
