Our work is characterised by light and transparency and this transformation of a house in Burstow Road in Wimbledon illustrates such an approach. An important feature is the roof form and from an early stage a number of design ideas have been explored. We have worked closely with our clients, exploring a variety of designs through 3D computer models to foster clear collaboration. The project focuses on adding a rear extension and enhancing the ground floor layout to create a more spacious and organized interior. As with all our projects, we emphasize bringing natural light into the space and creating a seamless connection between the interior and the exterior, both visually and physically.
