Shape Architecture continues to work on a wide variety of mews projects in London. This project is the development of a Kensington mews in Petersham Place . We were successful in gaining planning permission at our first attempt for the co-opting of an integral garage into habitable space. This transforms our clients property. The ground floor which previously had a small kitchen and store alongside seating, now has a large well integrated kitchen coupled with utility room and WC. The feeling is of a light filled contemporary home.

London Mews Design

Our earlier mews project at Adam and Eve mews took a similar approach to the opening up of the interior. In addition it saw the addition of a basement extension and a roof terrace. All linked by a feature stair. This project demonstrates the full extent of development that is possible with a mews property and is a great success.
