Currently the smallest project in our office, work at Hereford Square in Kensington is progressing well. As architects in Kensington we undertake a wide range of residential projects of all sizes. This project concerns the creation of a new master en-suite and refurbishment of the master bedroom. A key feature of the project is the fixed furniture all of which is designed by Shape Architecture. These range from elegant mirrored cabinets to a full width feature wardrobe within the bedroom.

    Refurbishment Projects in Kensington

A simple refurbishment of a building’s interior, or a single key room will make a tremendous difference to a home. Shape Architecture’s portfolio of small extensions and interior design projects in Kensington and throughout London explores the potential of a diverse range of interior spaces. Common to all is the creation of light filled elegant interiors.

    Small projects in Kensington

The new master en-suite has been redesigned to include a bath, large shower, double vanity unit and WC. Added to this is a walk-in store, large floor to ceiling cupboard and two mirror faced storage units. Stone cladding is applied over the bath and over the vanity unit. The floor is finished in large format tiles. The overall impression of the interior is of a simple and elegant space filled with high quality materials and fittings. Common to all of our small projects in Kensington or throughout London, detailed 3D computer images have been produced as design tool.

    Detailed Design

Shape Architecture has produced a wide range of large scale furniture details to ensure that every junction and detail is considered. Allied to this is the production of a series of samples prepared by the contractor to present to the client. These illustrate a variety of issues from spray finish to moulding types. The combination of 3D design and physical samples is extremely helpful to our clients in their decision making.
