Fulham Architects
As architects in Fulham, Shape Architecture has started 2014 with a wide range of commissions. These have largely come through client recommendation and an increasing number through the recommendation of Fulham Contractors. It is the quality of the service we offer and design that commends us to clients and the sound technical knowledge.
Fulham Pod Rooms
Already this year we have submitted a number of planning applications for Fulham Pod Rooms. One of our pod rooms in Fulham which has already been on site and is now nearing completion is in Edgarley Terrace. Here an additional bedroom is provided by the extra space in the pod room.
Through client recommendation we are also starting a new pod room project in Firth Gardens, being one of the adjacent streets to Edgarley Terrace. Pod Rooms provide a valuable additional room that is well integrated into the existing circulation.
Fulham Basements
Since the beginning of the year we have noticed a marked increase in enquiries for basement extensions in Fulham. This has also been matched by enquiries for basement projects in Kensington, Barnes and other London boroughs. Shape Architecture is now working on several Fulham basements, all of which have been awarded through client recommendation. We have also started work on a basement project in Barnes which is set entirely below a large rear garden rather than under the house.
Fulham Extensions
We continue to work on a range of extensions in Fulham. These are either rear extensions or side return extensions. Our Fulham extensions are either separate projects or form part of a larger project.
Fulham House Conversion
Shape Architecture’s Fulham house conversion is soon to start on site. Located in St. Dionis road, where we have undertaken a number of projects, it sees the reworking of a house presently configured as two separate flats back into a family home. We are also starting on site with a complete refurbishment of a duplex flat in Niton street in Fulham, combined with the addition of a pod room.
